Founder, Editor in Chief

Abigail Cain is a writer, publishing student, and full-time fish girl. Her debut novelette , Girls are Fish, will be released in August 2027 through Girl Noise Press. Other works of theirs can be found in Jardin Zine, Querencia Press, Yellow Light Magazine, and more. When she isn’t writing, they’re dwelling by the creek and enjoying the more beautiful things.

Poetry Editor

Natalia (or Talia) is a young writer, poet, and aspiring filmmaker. She enjoys watching or reading about themes of coming of age, sapphic love, and any weird and whimsical horror. When she is not writing or consuming media, you can find her working at the library or haunting a thrift store. As a poetry editor, she hopes to highlight unique voices and help the fish girls thrive.

Prose Editor

Alexa is a writer, multimedia artist, and musician. She has previously been published or has upcoming work in Underbelly Press, Flare Magazine, Glut Press, and more. When she's not writing, she can most often be found working as a graphic designer and listening to obscure rock music. She is looking forward to diving into whatever delicious and eccentric prose submissions the fish girls have to offer.

Graphic Designer

Chloe is an artist, graphic designer, and aspiring graphic novelist. Currently, she is into everything medieval, vampiric, and fish girl. In their spare time, you can usually find them on Wikipedia deep-dives or crocheting. She hopes to continue breathing life into the visuals of Sardine Can Collective.
