Hassan Abu-Judom is Palestinian-American visual artist that indulges their work within a self-portrait matter through depicting herself as a goblin persona. Each piece tells a personal story of subjects such as sexual or gender orientation, Middle Eastern cultural identity and struggles, memories, and dreamscapes. Abu-Judom’s goblins with their side of lowbrow iconography tells a different story every time in hopes of the viewer finding relatability and curiosity either with the works of the artist or through a connection between the viewer and the piece itself.
